Oh no. We've been married since 1988. She's too good a catch to not be attached to in a very real and legally binding way.
We have different names, which caused all kinds of talk when we decided to not change her last name. Some folks thought that it meant we weren't "really" getting married. As I told them, as long as she agrees to live with me, she can call herself any name she wants. |

One of the more famous sketches from the Monty Python's Flying Circus TV shows is the Dead Parrot sketch. Man tries to return a dead Norwegian Blue Parrot to the pet store he bought it from an hour before and the owner is trying to convince the guy that the parrot isn't really dead. It is pretty funny. |
