ANDY POLLEY NEWS! "Andy in the Morning"?

From dcrtv.com:

Andy Pollin To 570? - 8/23 - UPDATED: DCRTV first reported early Friday that Andy Pollin is going to do a show from 6 AM to 9 AM on Redskins owner Dan Snyder's WSPZ, Sports 570, at least until his contract is up in December. Last month, Snyder's Red Zebra radio arm replaced Pollin, who did the afternoon show with Steve Czaban on ESPN 980, WTEM, with Redskins veteran Chris Cooley. More: We hear that a plan to put Pollin on 570's mornings has been in the works for several weeks, at least. But, there will be no official announcement until "a deal is struck." And, if the plan gets green-lighted, expect an extension of Pollin's contract beyond 2013, we hear. Currently, WSPZ airs Czaban's nationally syndicated morning show.....

He's going to be on 570 from 6-9 AM from now on, starting tomorrow, and it's "The Sports Reporters." And he'd better have sidekicks and guests, because I remember some of the solo Andy Polley shows from the old days . . . .

More: Pollin To Do Mornings On 570 - 9/10 - As DCRTV tipped you Monday. We're told that DC sports radio veteran Andy Pollin announced on Redskins owner Dan Snyder's WTEM, ESPN 980, early Tuesday that "The Sports Reporters" will be back. From 6 AM to 9 AM on co-owned WSPZ, Sports 570, starting Wednesday. A local media guru wonders if Snyder is giving Pollin a show on low-rated WSPZ just to keep him from jumping to rival CBS sports talker WJFK, 106.7 The Fan. More at washingtonpost.com, which quotes Pollin as saying: "I want it to be as much like the 'Sports Reporters' that we did on 980 for 14 years as possible." Last month, Pollin was removed from the afternoon show on WTEM. Chris Knoche, Kevin Blackistone, and Thom Loverro will be regulars on his new show...

Listening to :icon_andy:Andy Polley this a.m., I see that it was HIM who did the 'Birthdays' on TSR. That was HIS gig. Didn't figure Al Galdi would carry it over to "The Drive".

Did you hear Andy note how much better the Philly offense would be if RGKneezus was the QB? Also, he introduced Knoche as the author of the quote, "Who among us has NOT gone fishing for head?"

But I'm sure Chip Kelly would have jerked a knot in his ass if he couldn't run the 'new' speedy offense in training camp, thus sitting his ass down for the opener and beyond.
You know, treat him like the CHILD he still behaves like.

I've adopted "RG2.5" until further notice.
