Support for Apple Bluetooth keyboards?  Really?  Who would use a keyboard with their phone?
I think this was more for iPads, and iPhones came along for the ride....

But I can understand it.  When I had an old Palm V, I got the keyboard with it.  It make text entering much easier.

So some of apps dont seem to be working... just need to wait for an update?
I had about 5 apps that had updates last evening, most saying compatibility with iOS 4 was the reason.

If you only had a VCR still around or could plan ahead to record things.

Hence why I said to plan ahead.  Remote access seems a bit over the top.

Woo hoo!  Just got a note that DC Comics are coming to the comiXology app. Now I definitely could see my money go bye-bye subscribing to Batman titles. And it almost makes me want to purchase an iPad...  Almost.

Did anyone use the native mail app to access GMail? Have you had issues with password verification since your upgrade?

No trouble with Gmail, I did have trouble with my CBS Sports / Fantasy App.  Took 10 times of putting in the password and then it took.  I can't imagine I entered it wrong 10 times.  It's working now.

Re: iOS 4

I'm going to condense threads here and add iPhone 4 to the subject header, just to keep my "fanboydom" out of the rambler threads.

Anyone else playing with an iPhone 4?  Anyone else having the problems that Gizmodo seems so intent on broadcasting about the phone since they were banned from Apple's good craces after finding their phone?

I just tried my own experiment, and it seems to be true that when you hold the phone on both sides the meter goes one bar down after a few seconds, and then up again when you hold it flat in your hand or on the table.

However, i don't know how this really matters, as i was on a call and there was no dropped call or quality difference.  It could be the principle of a known issue, but i would assume that this could be an issue with any phone?

I read that the Apple bumper accessory may have been designed and launched by Apple because of this.  People are even clamoring for a free bumper.  Who knows.  Rampant speculation.

Phone is still cool, and i didn't even know the old display sucked until I saw this one.

I always had in the back of my head thinking "Holding an antenna? That seems like a recipe for having signal interference." Granted I usually use Speakerphone or use my Sync System in my car...  People clamoring for free bumpers won't get them. They may be discounted, but they won't be free. I love using the bumper. Not only does it help the antenna issue, it also helps with drops and protects somewhat from people breaking the back of the phone... The all glass back is kind of curious.

Everyone I showed the new display to yesterday had their jaw drop. Yesterday while viewing this site in portrait mode, I could make out the text of this site on the screen without zooming.  While this would kil my eyes in the long term, I was shocked at how legible the posts were at that size.

Poor old phone - so loved and coveted in its day... [pout]
The difference between screens is ridiculous. It's hard for me to look at my old iPhone's blocky appearance.

It gave you the best year of its life and now you shun it for being a little blocky... [no]

My old phone is going to a good home and will be loved and cared for. It will continue to live with an owner who appreciated it as much as I did when it was brand new.
