Tony opens the show by talking about condiments, and also about the final day of the NFL regular season - including a curious move by Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. Michael Wilbon calls in to talk more NFL and also about Northwestern’s impressive win in the Citrus Bowl. Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde phones in to talk about Ohio State’s upset of Clemson and he previews their championship game match with Alabama, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Songs : Norwegian Soft Kitten “Sunshine on Lava” ; “Ohio Dreams”

Let’s see if TK will call out the Eagles for their disgraceful tanking and handing thr NFC East to the WFT, even though the Giants would have won the Super Bowl if they had gotten in

Jalen Hurts missed a wide open throw on 4th and goal. If he was even semi-competent on that play, Iggles are up 4.
That's right. Let's not canonize Hurts. He was 7 for 20 with under 100 yards. He's better than Sudfield, but that game was every bit as bad as advertised.

It's a unique talent to take your hatred for and disappointment in your own team and turn it on the fans of your archrival. Well played.

I love ketchup. It's not like I put it on everything, because I don't, but I've often said that french fries are a ketchup delivery system! I miss the old Del Monte ketchup that was made with pineapple vinegar. Very tangy.

Also, what's the deal with MK calling his mom by her first name on the pod? I've never in my life referred to my mom by her first name and neither have either of our sons called their mom anything other than mom. IDK...

I am sad you missed the old days of the board where we dedicated multiple pages to proper condiment/food combinations including the best sauces for fries. Because I’m sure you’re interested, in the US, (when I dip) I use a mustard/ketchup combo on fries. In Europe I am Team Mayonnaise on my frites.

BTW, do you consider a meatball to be a sort of mini-meatloaf and Maryland to be a southern state? Also, do you prefer crunchy or “smotoh” peanut butter. These things used to be really important.

And of course I'm interested! The only peanut butter is crunchy, don't eat meat any longer, and nobody from the Commonwealth of VA would ever consider Maryland as a southern state!

Ever since she could talk, my younger sister called our parents by their first names.

She has no idea why she started, but she’s never quit. My dad says he always knew when she wanted something, because those were the only times she called them “Mom” or “Dad”.

That's pretty funny actually!
