Cillizza knows where his bread is buttered. He beat TK to the Ohlmeyer "the answer to all your questions is money" line.

Whenever Wilbon is on, I’m reminded of the quote from President Bartlet on The West Wing:

“What is it with people from Chicago that they're so happy to have been born there? I meet so many people who can't wait to tell me they're from Chicago and when I meet them, they're living anywhere but Chicago.”

This I don't get. Same with TK and LI. I'm from Arlington, went to the same HS as my parents, my relatives for many, many generations are from NoVA out to Middleburg, Aldie, Berryville, and such. I.Just.Don't.Care. It's my history, but I'm not waxing poetic and nostalgic about it.

I don’t ever HAVE to go back to West-of-Fuckall Tejas.

You have no idea how good that feels.

I'm a native Pittsburgher and we are guilty of this. The "Burgh Diaspora" is a famous thing. So on this particular issue, I have to give Wilbon a pass. Plus Chicago is still one of his homes.
