Tony opens the show by talking to David Aldridge about the passing of Wes Unseld and what he meant to the Bullets and to DC. Torie Clarke calls in to talk with Tony about some innovative dining ideas, and ESPN's Tim Kurkjian phones in to share his memories of Wes Unseld and to talk about the latest news on whether baseball will come back at all this year. As always, Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Agreed. The show does serious issues badly, as TK brings on morons (CC) to discuss them, mainly. It's like goddamned Nephew Bill -- he brought on Ryan Russillo to talk about the race issues/riots/whatever. It was savage and awful; I turned it off quickly.
Do you guys remember the show after the VA Tech shooting in 2007? Maybe my memory is influenced by nostalgia but I remember that show being very good. I think it was TK, Jeanne and Liz or Tracee Hamilton that day.

Michael needs to drop the “this is awkward” bit he does with the MeUndies read. It’s beyond tiresome at this point.

Likely it's mostly nostalgia. I remember that show well as I was already living in B'burg and TK pretty much had no clue. And as far as MK goes, I'm sure he's a fine fellow, but he is the new show-killer, not that TK needs much help with that anymore.

Long back in the day I had to quit Scott Van Pelt's Espn radio show because I found Russillo insufferable.

Russillo’s whole thing is: 1) the rest of the sports world is stupid and only he understands how things really are; 2) he’s really good at his job (important people tell him this) and he should be more famous.

Not a surprise from that POS. Is Kentucky in the running for state with the worst Senators?
The Once-Great State says hold on there a minute, pardner!

If John Cronyn had the seniority, he’d be every bit as odious as the Turtle. And Ted Cruz defers to no one — not even randoid — in his purposeful assholeishness.

Perhaps if they had duels ...
