Tony opens the show by talking to Jeanne Mcmanus - his former editor from the Washington Post - to get her thoughts on the story about sexual misconduct within the Washington Football team's organization. Michael Wilbon calls in to give his thoughts as a columnist, about how he would have approached that story, and Liz Clarke of the Washington Post calls in to talk about her role as a reporter in putting the story together, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Songs : Sugar Shane "Nobility" ; The Gincident "Corona, Corona"

How many minutes in before Tony puts his foot in his mouth? Jeanne's always good at slapping him down, though.

Jesus Christ Wilbon with the hyperbole about Chicago weather. The rain was biblical this weekend? Wtf? It was sudden and a lot at once but it dried up enough by the late afternoon that people were back outside and in parks like normal

get a grip big boy

I think I'll start bringing back the Wilbon Name Drop Counter. Of course, until we're back to normal, he won't be able to have dinner with his good friends Irving Magic Johnson, Doc Rivers, or Chuck.

I'm still not convinced that these see Wilbon as a friend and that it's a one way friendship. I reckon they see him more of an acquaintance or work colleague than an actual friend.

Wilbon is likely close with Chuck after doing writing for him. As a casual observer it seems many athletes, current and retired, look upon TK and Wilbon with some degree of fondness. But friends? Likely more than a bridge too far.
