Dan Snyder's statement on Marty closed with:

"He will be remembered as a family man of high character who treated everyone around him with kindness and compassion."

I guess nobody's ever going to say those things about the Danny, except for the "family man" part, in that he does have a family.

The statement also said nothing about his coaching ability. That's because Snyder looked -- and still looks -- bad by letting him go after one year. Even Joe Gibbs couldn't reach .500 during his second tenure, thanks to Snyder's incompetence and meddling.
