It must frustrate TK that there are times when being TK doesn't provide him with any advantages over the common people.

Haven't listened, not sure if I will, but I've had three MRIs in the past 18 months (unfortunately) and have never had any issues with insurance approvals. They were done after X-rays and a fair bit of PT in all three cases however. Two indicated surgical intervention was needed, but all of this was after all the other steps were done.

It's pretty much the consensus among many major employers and HR types that an employer can mandate this for their employees.
As well they should. Public schools mandate vaccinations before students can attend, so this seems to be no difference to me. When I was teaching, the nurse always had to send a few new 6th graders home on the first day of school when they showed up and their med reports weren't up to date due to their idiotic parents not doing their job.

Employer lawyer alert — an employer can require vaccines as a condition of returning to the workplace. Things do get a little trickier if the person has a legitimate medical reason for not getting the vaccine and the employer fires them for not returning to work.

I listened to the MRI story. I’m a little confused.

IIRC, when I go to the doctor, I have to sign something that says (words to the effect of) “if my insurance company doesn’t pay, I agree to pay the billed charges.”

That said, I don’t understand why the radiology center would not allow him to self-pay. But I definitely don’t want to end up like Elaine and have a doctor write “difficult” on my chart.

So if everyone is vaccinated, why can't Gary and the show regulars do the show from Tony's house?
