Tony opens the show by talking about the bracket standings (congrats to Brian Polian so far), and he talks about Megan Rapinoe speaking out about the inequalities that still exist between men's and women's sports. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports calls in to talk about NFL free agency, Deshaun Watson, and Dan Snyder's ownership of the WTF, Pat Forde of Sports Illustrated phones in to talk about the big surprises so far in the NCAA tournament as we head into the Sweet 16, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Songs : Virginia Coalition "Suicide Doors" ; "Nashville"

Only two shows this week. Back to three next week. He will tell you why next week, when you care less....

So Tony just realized the Sweet 16 doesn't start tonight. But now he thinks it starts tomorrow. Spoiler alert: it starts Saturday (if only that information was easily available to him). Forde tried to explain that, but you could tell that TK wasn't listening

TK still thinks Gonzaga is gonna win it all, which means they are losing this weekend
Today's episode in trashing Gonzaga: there is nothing in front of them, so they are losers unless they win the tournament. Prediction: if they win, he still won't give credit "because they didn't beat anyone"

through Tuesday. Why does when the games are impact when he does a podcast at 7 in the morning?

No question. But you could tell that both TK and LaCanfora were not eager to dig into that subject matter
I give the old man a lotta crap on here but I applaud his get-the-facts, this-is-the-story journalist bent during this interview. La Canfora—whom I usually respect, generally—lamely tried to gloss over the Watson allegations at first but TK, to his credit, dutifully doubled back.

It is indeed the biggest thing in The Sainted Hallowed National Football League right now, and as he mentioned, like it or not, you absolutely have to discuss it.

It’s also hard for La Canfora to speak definitively about this because the facts are not known. What is there to say other than it looks bad and that it is more important than football?

“Nashville“ is a Tom petty song
Yeah I'm a huge Tom Petty fan and I didn't know which song he was referring to. Very sad I never got to see him in person. I guess it's more sad for him, being dead and all.

I wonder if the NCAA will keep this Sweet 16/Elite Eight format. I would have the think the raitings were through the roof with the games in their own windows.
