Radio Parttimer Korny May Return To "MNF" In '08 - 10/31 - In our exclusive report Monday about Washington Post superstar sports columnist Tony Kornheiser's return to local radio, via talker 3WT in January, DCRTV told you about rumblings from 3WT owner Bonneville that it's expecting Kornheiser to do his morning show for the full year. Not like this year, when he left the radio mic in June to do ESPN's "Monday Night Football." But, DCRTV hears from a source close to Kornheiser that he's "really enjoying" his "MNF" duties and is likely to return to them next year. We also hear that Clear Channel, which owns Kornheiser's old radio home of SportsTalk 980, WTEM, decided to go with Dan Patrick for the late morning/midday slot instead of trying to re-sign Kornheiser for the very reason that Kornheiser might not be there for the full year, which would be problematic in the all-important radio ratings race.....
