No, but when have I ever let a point get in the way of criticizing someone's musical ability.

But I do have to admit that it's pretty freakin' funny.
remind me to hide me tapes around you.

In 1969 my parents were invited to a Prayer Breakfast in the White House. The invitation was extended to me. I was in college at the time and hated Nixon. I refused to go. I have since regretted that decision
My sister had the opportunity to attend a function at the White House, and said no matter your views, or your "big talk" prior to going, the majesty and power of being there reduces you to being in awe and having ultimate respect.

I presume the Kimmel videos have already been posted in the YouTube section.  Hilarious.
Problem is I kinda figured that'd be the response, just not in the scale that it was done.

Prayer Breakfast, 1969?  I thought Ralph Reed invented those things, and if not, I didn't realize politicians were exploiting them that far back in time.
Billy Graham; Ike Eisenhower; 1953. Graham of course lost all street cred by hanging around Nixon too much.

Was it predictable?  Yes, but you've gotta give 'em points for the execution.

All the more reason not to go and maintain my bitter, detached cynicism.

Norovirus has been a real problem over here for a couple of months and I mean for the country as a whole not just on cruise ships.

I suspect that Brits are travelling to the USA/Mexico carrying the virus with them

Tilda Swinton is involved in this.

A couple of years ago I was at a Luke Haines (one of my favourite singers, who you should all give a listen) gig in the upstairs room of a pub in Bristol (England, not near ESPN) that holds maybe 50 people max.

There was a poster advertising a gig the following week for an unknown singer called Kate Nash. I checked her out on Youtube & Myspace, planned to go to the gig but never did.

Now Kate's selling out 5000 capacity venues.

I could have been there at the start. Plus, before she was famous, I might have had a chance !!

Forget "Amy the Wino", Kate Nash is the UK's premier female singer/songwriter at the moment
