Hello friends!
Well, it’s that time of year again, where I go around with the hat and ask for donations to help offset the cost of running this place for yearly maintenance. I’m still floored by how active it is here.
This is this site’s 17th year around the sun. It’s weird to think of websites being that old, but here we are.
You’ll notice that this year’s goal is more than it has been in the past. Unfortunately, costs seem to go up
every year. It’s just the nature of things.
The costs here go toward everything that isn’t the monthly fee. This includes the message board software, the add-on licenses, the SSL certificate that makes this place secure, the yearly domain cost, yearly e-mail costs, and assorted odds and ends.
And since this is the yearly campaign call, if you donate, The donation banner will be renewed for two years. Not sure if that is enough incentive, but here we are.
