Well, Mr. Tony's preference for Donkey is "dun-key" but the other two are mocking syndicated radio jock Jim Rome, who encourages his "clones" in the "jungle" to "bang their monkey" to get the third hour of the show. He also presses these clones to write takes that don't suck and if they're good, they're racked. Honestly, Rome is a no-talent who doesn't get the joke, which makes it funnier.
An additional note, when Rome has the Smack-Off, Tony normally counters with the Snackdown, and infinitely better event where listeners snack down on grindage in mass quantities and tell everyone about it.
